Iowa Hawkeyes Custom Items – Personalized by You

Create your own Iowa Hawkeyes look with Iowa Hawkeyes Custom Items. 

To comply with NCAA rules, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) regulations, and University of Iowa licensing requirements, the following guidelines are strictly enforced:

  • No current or former player names
  • No name and number combinations that replicate or resemble any current or former student-athlete (Men’s or Women’s rosters)
  • Customizations may not reference, imitate, or be identifiable to a specific student-athlete in any way (including nicknames, initials, or variations)
  • No references to current or past student-athletes, (e.g., BANKS, CLARK, DEJEAN,   KINNICK, LONG). This also includes student-athletes who have been drafted.
  • Player names cannot be recreated on jerseys associated with their era
  • Certain numbers may be restricted or require approval based on university policies (e.g., #24 is reserved in honor of Nile Kinnick and may only be used with approved customization)
  • Custom text may not include University of Iowa trademarks, protected phrases, or institutional references
  • Customizations may not imply official team roles or affiliation (e.g., “Coach,” “Captain,” “Staff”)
  • No profanity, offensive, or suggestive language
  • No punctuation marks allowed
  • All custom orders are subject to review and approval based on University of Iowa licensing guidelines
  • If you are an immediate family member (e.g. parent, grandparent, or sibling) of a player, please contact a store for ordering details.

Ordering & Production Details

  • All customized items are final sale and cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded once the order is placed
  • Orders that do not meet customization guidelines may be canceled at any time at staff discretion
  • Production time is 14–21 days from the date the order is placed
  • Due to order volume, production delays may occur

Shipping Information

  • Ground shipping only (expedited shipping is not available for custom orders)
  • Delivery by Christmas is not guaranteed
